so.. late, late Monday night.. a very close friend of mine fell about 12 – 15 feet and fractured a vertbrate in the middle of her spine.. and I was there at the time and saw her fall.. I had to wake up the people downstairs to call 911.. to say I was scared shitless would be a understatement.. but all things considered, she is doing well.. she’s still in a lot of pain, but has good movement in all her arms/legs/hands/toes/etc.. so there is some good news at least.. now I’m doing my best to be supportive and helpful without being an annoying nuisance.. anyway.. things like this really make you think..

Has it been really been 9 months since I last posted? Wow. I suck at updating this thing.
