(from the back of a bag of Nestle brand chocolate chips)

2 ¼ cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine (softened)
¾ cup sugar
¾ cup (packed) brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 large eggs
2 cups (12oz bag?) Netsle Toll House Semi-Sweet Morsels

Optional
1 cup chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 375

Combine:
Flour, baking soda, salt in a small bowl. Beat butter, sugars and vanilla in a large mixing bowl until creamy. Add eggs 1 at a time, mixing well each time. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet

Bake for 9 to 11 minutes until golden brown.

Makes about 5 dozen small cookies
