Creamy Walnut Pralines
2 cups sugar
1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup light corn syrup
1 cup buttermilk
Bring to a boil in heavy pan, Cook to a soft boil stage2 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 ½ cups chopped walnuts
1 teaspoon hot water
Remove from heat and add walnuts, butter, water and vanilla
Beat until creamyDrop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper or buttered cookie sheet
(Add water if needed?)Let Cool
